Native people have been using both White Sage and Cedar for hundreds of years as sacred plants. They burn the dry bundled leaves of White Sage during their purification ceremonies and healing sessions to cleanse a space or a person of all evil spirits or negative energies. Cedar, a resinous aromatic tree has also been used for cleansing rituals and healing rites. Its smoke is said to attract the good spirits and eliminate the negative energies. Fresh earthy White Sage combines in these incense smudge sticks with the sweet herbaceous scent of Cedar to protect, purify and to draw positive vibes.
